WMHB 89.7FM's webstream has been added to the exclusive list of internet radio stations on Apple's iTunes, one of the most widely used media players. Users of iTunes all over the world can access WMHB's webstream by clicking on 'radio' and selecting either the 'eclectic' or 'alternative' genres. WMHB has also been added into the TiVo radio directory. WMHB's webstream is available to all internet users from its website at www.wmhb.org. Lee Emmons, general manager of WMHB, states 'WMHB is pleased an honored to be listed on the iTunes directory. This will be a convenient way for our listeners to enjoy the diverse programming they have come to love, and also help WMHB attract new listeners across the globe'.
WMHB 89.7FM Waterville is the radio station of Colby College, broadcasting new and alternative music 24x7. WMHB plays music of all genres, focusing on new and emerging artists. WMHB is a completely student managed endeavor, operating with the help of 70 students and 30 community members from the Waterville area. WMHB has been on air for over 50 years and on the web since 1999. WMHB's webstream has become an increasingly popular as of late, with listeners across the US and in over 50 countries.
